2nd International Health Science Conference

Following the outstanding success of our inaugural scientific forum and the positive feedback from the professional community, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Studies of the University of Szeged is proud to organize the 2nd International Health Science Conference. Our event will once again be hosted by the city of sunshine, Szeged, from May 27–29, 2027.

Continuing the tradition established last year, our conference aims to showcase the latest results and developments in medical and health science research. This international gathering provides an excellent platform to promote the progression of health science education and to foster multidisciplinary cooperation and collective thinking across various scientific fields and research areas.

A key objective of the event is the exchange of experiences to stimulate innovation and the review of developmental trends that are decisive for daily patient care. We place special emphasis on our Alumni students, for whom the conference provides a platform to present their professional career paths and share their experiences in modern healthcare. In the spirit of strengthening our international relations, we are honored to welcome distinguished representatives of our EUGLOH partners, further deepening the possibilities for scientific and educational cooperation.

Our program has been designed to provide a high-quality experience for both professionals and students interested in the latest achievements in healthcare and medicine. Accordingly, we have invited renowned representatives of the national and international scientific community to deliver plenary lectures and lead symposia.

In addition to the four planned plenary lectures, we look forward to welcoming participants with 25–30 presentations in Hungarian and English sessions organized into thematic blocks. The poster session will again hold a prominent place, providing opportunities for young national and international researchers, as well as PhD students, to present their work and integrate into the scientific community.

The conference focuses on the challenges of practice, the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, as well as specialized fields such as public health, medical ethics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation research. Through the open lectures of our Scientific Congress, we also offer the general public insight into the technologies of the future. Under our motto “From Cells to Bedside,” our spectrum ranges from basic research through translational medicine and the application of artificial intelligence to healthcare issues related to the current updates of the HUNOR Hungarian Space Program.

We look forward to welcoming our dear Colleagues and Students to Szeged in May 2027 for the 2nd International Health Science Conference!
